Are you better than a 10-year-old at maths? Test your skills and find out – Diverse Bulletin

Asking the questions “are you better at maths than a school pupil?” the widget takes the form of a quiz and was created by the virtual maths tutoring service Maths-Whizz.

The quiz features 25 questions ‑ selected by education experts ‑ and are relevant to key topics typically taught to children throughout their education.

Split into five rounds of five questions, subjects range from written numbers to geometry.

After the quiz participants will be given a “maths age”. This is essentially your core mathematical knowledge defined by a figure.

This may appear abstract but a maths age of 8.5 means you are performing at the overall level expected of an eight-and-a-half-year old.

Be warned, these questions are trickier than they look, so getting a score in the low teens is actually pretty impressive.

Although you may be disheartened by a lower than expected score the quiz will show you where you went wrong so you can always give it another attempt.

Good luck!
