BCSC reports latest numbers on COVID-19 as fall break begins – The Republic

As students head into fall break, Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp. is reporting a total of 513 COVID-19 positive cases since the beginning of the new school year — up 31 from last week’s count.

Officials reported that, as of noon on Oct. 8, there have been 452 student cases and 61 staff cases.

During the 2020-21 school year, there were a total of 29 cases in the first quarter.

This year’s case counts, so far, are as follows, by building:

  • Administration: 1
  • Busy Bees: One student, one staff (2)
  • Central: 32 students, three staff (35)
  • Clifty Creek: 16 students, two staff (18)
  • CSA Fodrea: 19 students, two staff (21)
  • CSA Lincoln: 19 students, three staff (22)
  • CSA New Tech: 19 students
  • East: 46 students, four staff (50)
  • McDowell/Bright Beginnings: Three students
  • Mt. Healthy: 14 students, five staff (19)
  • North: 62 students, four staff (66)
  • Northside: 21 students, one staff (22)
  • Parkside: 35 students, five staff (40)
  • Richards: 23 students, four staff (27)
  • Rockcreek: 21 students, four staff (25)
  • Schmitt: 46 students, three staff (49)
  • Smith: 29 students, four staff (33)
  • Southside: 33 students, two staff (35)
  • T&M: 6 staff
  • Taylorsville: 13 students, seven staff (20)
