Lady arrested following trashing Dairy Queen, waving pink pistol and threatening to shoot, police say

A Newnan woman has been arrested right after law enforcement reported she trashed a Dairy Queen and then waved a pink pistol and threatened to shoot the put up before this week.

Newnan law enforcement explained they were referred to as to reports of an armed robbery at the cafe on Jefferson Street all around noon Wednesday When police received to the scene, a retail store personnel told them that a lady came into the store to ask for a refund and turned irate.

Police say Lanta Adkins bought food at the generate thru window, but then arrived inside the shop to complain that a little something was incorrect with her purchase. The supervisor, Manmedoli Momin, agreed to give Adkins a refund when she received offended and threw a liquid substance at Momin.

“Adkins turned irate and began throwing and shoving points off of the cashier counter region,” law enforcement mentioned. “While throwing and pushing items off the counter prime Adkins created statements together the strains of, ‘I’ll fill this location up with bullet holes’.”

Adkins then went out to a Dodge Charger parked outside and got out a pink pistol. The supervisor was equipped to lock the restaurant before Adkins could get back in. Adkins then still left the scene in the Charger.

Police identified the auto at a close by apartment advanced. Officers identified Adkins within her condominium and arrested her. Officers also located the gun inside of the condominium.

Adkins was charged with terroristic threats and easy assault.
