Manhattan District Lawyer Alvin Bragg has reportedly warned employees not to give in to intimidation and threats in the wake of previous President Donald Trump’s Truth Social rant that known as for protests if he is arrested on Tuesday.
Bragg, in an e mail to his staff members acquired by Politico and NBC Information, referred to “ongoing push consideration and community comments” about an investigation by the place of work and reminded personnel that their security is a best priority.
The DA’s information comes as his workplace investigates hush money payments to Stormy Daniels during Trump’s 2016 presidential marketing campaign.
Bragg did not refer to the previous president by identify in his email.

“We do not tolerate attempts to intimidate our business or threaten the rule of law in New York,” Bragg wrote. “Our regulation enforcement associates will be certain that any unique or credible threats against the place of work will be entirely investigated and that the appropriate safeguards are in spot so all 1,600 of us have a secure work environment.”
Bragg added that he’s committed to sustaining a safe work atmosphere for staff members.
“In the meantime, as with all our investigations, we will carry on to implement the law evenly and fairly, and speak publicly only when acceptable,” he wrote.
The Manhattan district attorney’s business office did not immediately react to a HuffPost request for comment.
The electronic mail reportedly arrived after the previous president, in an all-caps rant to his supporters, called for “PROTEST [to] Consider OUR Nation BACK” in posts referencing the DA’s office.
The rant adopted a report that regulation enforcement in New York are gearing up for the possibility of an indictment.
Numerous Republicans have considering that spoken out in guidance of Trump, like his previous vice president, Mike Pence, who explained to reporters the concept of indicting a previous president “is deeply troubling” to him.
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) also referred to Bragg as “a radical DA” and claimed he “lets violent criminals stroll as he pursues political vengeance” towards the previous president.
