NYT reporter Maggie Haberman says Trump is ‘very anxious’ about a feasible indictment since he isn’t going to ‘want to facial area obtaining arrested’

Donald Trump is “pretty anxious about the prospect of remaining indicted,” the New York Times’s Maggie Haberman said.

Trump is just not “enthusiastic” about remaining arrested, fingerprinted, or inquiring for bail, Haberman explained.

He claimed on Real truth Social that he expects to be “arrested” up coming 7 days in the Manhattan DA’s investigation.

Speaking to Jake Tapper on CNN’s “Point out of the Union” on Sunday, Haberman mentioned Trump stays unnerved by the possible indictment, even as he commences fundraising off of it.

“He is incredibly anxious about the prospect of currently being indicted for a couple of explanations,” Haberman reported right after Tapper requested about what is actually taking place the powering scenes in Trump’s environment. “He is informed that there are motives to consider this could support him politically. We have read a ton about this morning previously. But he does not want to encounter acquiring arrested, which is what transpires when you get indicted. You get fingerprinted. You get brought in. You have to talk to for bail. None of that is something that he is enthusiastic about.”

Trump predicted on Saturday that he would be “arrested” on Tuesday in the Manhattan district attorney’s investigation into the $130,000 hush payment designed to grownup movie star Stormy Daniels forward of the 2016 election. Trump’s attorneys stated they had not obtained data from the district attorney confirming Trump’s promises and that he was basing them “on press studies,” Insider beforehand noted.

In a sequence of posts on Reality Social, Trump called for his followers to “protest” and “acquire our country again,” referring to himself as the “Foremost REPUBLICAN Candidate” in the 2024 presidential race.

On the offensive, Trump and his personnel have also launched a variety of assaults on Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg, a Democrat.

“He and his folks, his political individuals, are getting ready for a big blitz politically to push again on the Manhattan district attorney,” Haberman explained of Trump. “You noticed that get started yesterday, although I really don’t believe that his Reality Social posts yesterday morning calling for protests was component of a grand program. He did it, and a bunch of his aides were being shocked by it.”

Trump claimed in a write-up on Fact Social on Sunday that the “Biden Administration, the Democrats, and the Phony News Media commenced pushing” Bragg on the case. According to Haberman’s reporting, Trump’s crew is attempting to tie Biden to the Manhattan case, alleging a cloud of political corruption more than the investigation.

Trump also faces investigations in Georgia and two from the federal government. On CNN on Sunday, Haberman reported there may possibly be “potentially multiple indictments” as Trump helps make his 2024 presidential bid.

“We are speaking about an indictment in Georgia quite possibly taking place in the coming months. We are conversing about indictments from the federal federal government occurring in the coming months,” Haberman said. “That turns into a great deal of freight to carry in a presidential race.”
