
San Diego County public health officials reported 419 new cases of COVID-19 Saturday and no additional deaths.
The new data brought the county’s case totals to 370,901 since the pandemic began. The death toll remained at 4,218.
Officials noted 15 new COVID hospitalizations, but no additional patients required intensive care.
Locally, more than 2.28 million people are fully vaccinated against the coronavirus.
Nationally, about 17.7 million people have received a booster dose of either Pfizer, Moderna or Johnson & Johnson’s COVID-19 vaccine. Regulators authorized booster doses from Moderna and Johnson & Johnson on Oct. 20.
