Sununu on achievable Trump arrest: ‘Democrats have misplayed this’

Gov. Chris Sununu (R-N.H.) on Sunday mentioned the doable imminent arrest of previous President Trump in an investigation into alleged hush-funds payments through the 2016 presidential election is setting up sympathy for the former president.

“I imagine it is creating a lot of sympathy for the former president,” Sununu said of the attainable arrest on CNN’s “State of the Union.” The governor explained some Republicans he’d talked to who are not “big Trump supporters” expressed issue that the former president “was remaining attacked.”
